Welcome Letter
A Note from NatalieVP Communications · Class of 2031
June 2026
To My Incredible Communications Team,

Welcome — truly, genuinely, welcome. I am so proud to be leading this team, and so excited about everything we're going to accomplish together this year.

You were chosen because you bring something unique and irreplaceable to this work. Whether it's your eye for design, your gift with words, your organizational genius, or your passion for our chapter — you belong here. Every one of you is exactly who this team needs.

"Connecting hearts, hands and minds so that every community thrives."

That's NCL's vision — and it's also ours. Every email we send, every caption we write, every photo we post is a small act of connection. We are the voice of Canyon Chapter. We help mothers and daughters feel seen, celebrated, and proud to be part of something bigger than themselves. That is not a small thing. That is everything.

This year's theme — Saddle Up for Service — says it all. We're saddling up. We're showing up, ready to ride, for our chapter and for the families who count on us. There will be busy weeks and big deadlines. There will also be beautiful moments: a caption that perfectly captures a philanthropy event, a post that makes a new member feel welcome, a press release that puts Canyon Chapter on the map.

Here's what I promise you: I will always have your back. I will celebrate your wins loudly. I will give you the tools, training, and support you need to do this well. And I will make sure this team is a place you're proud to be part of.

This guide is your home base for everything — your role, our workflows, our tools, and our standards. Read it, keep it, and come back to it whenever you need it. And please, always feel free to come to me with questions, ideas, or anything at all.

Let's make this the best season Canyon Chapter has ever seen. I cannot wait to do it with you.

With so much excitement and gratitude,
Natalie Lueders

Workflow & Tools

How We WorkContent workflow · Tools · Drive structure

Content Approval Workflow

Every piece of content follows this path — no exceptions. The workflow protects our members, our brand, and each other.

1
Create
You draft content and save it to the Drive Review Queue folder
2
Review
Natalie (or Cheri) reviews for brand, safety, and accuracy
3
Approve
Approved content moves to "2027 Templates Approved" in Drive
4
Schedule
Carey schedules on platforms; Maria updates the NCL app
5
Publish
Content goes live — always after the event, never before
🔑 Golden Rule: Nothing goes live without Natalie's approval. Not because we don't trust each other — because we protect our members, our chapter, and our brand together. When in doubt, ask first. That's always the right answer.

3No event times. Always direct members to the NCL app for times and details.
4No school uniforms or identifiable school imagery in any post.

6No financial info. Dues, donations, and fundraising totals are internal only.
7Post in past tense. Event photos and recaps only go up after the event ends.
💬 Safe reminder template: "Members, don't forget this week's events — check your NCL calendar app for all the details! We can't wait to see you!" — Use this model when promoting upcoming events publicly. It's warm, it drives to the app, and it protects privacy.
